FAQs
General Questions
1) Tell me about these sexy postcards.
That’s more of a demand than a question, but who’s counting? Anyway, each card measures 6 x 4.25 inches and is professionally printed on thick paper stock. Additionally, cards are triple coated with protectant to make them water and scuff resistant. The back of the card look like this.
2) When will my cards be mailed?
Cards are printed and mailed on Tuesdays and Fridays. Get your order in by 7:00 CST the night before to be included in the following day’s batch.
3) How long will the postcards take to reach my recipients?
The cards are all mailed from the Chicagoland area. It’s a nice midwest location that provides fair service to all. Delivery times will vary, depending on location and the USPS. All postcards are sent via first class mail.
4) I don’t live in the US. Can I use the service?
Yes. You can send from and to any country in the world.
5) Can I send a picture of….
There are two things to keep in mind when selecting your picture. First, it can’t have copyrighted images in it unless you have permission from the owner. Second, it’s a postcard - so a handful of people may see it before it gets to your recipient (postal workers, nosy neighbors, etc.). Keep it clean. Review our terms of use for the nitty-gritty.
6) I have a special request. Is it possible to…
Probably. E-mail and we’ll let you know. Support@postcardperfect.com
Online Ordering Questions
1) What if I only want to send one card? How about three?
The 2 cards for $3 pricing structure is set up to be simple and encourage you to send more than one card. You can make two people smile, or really make one person’s day. That choice is yours. The number of cards sent is not. It’s a give and take relationship here at PostcardPerfect. If you want to send more than two, just run though the order process more than once. It’s quick, we promise.
2) Really though, I only want to send one card. Why won’t you let me?
Promotional spin aside, we needed a minimum purchase amount to make it worth the cost and time of processing each order. We thought about increasing the price of individual cards, but decided we’d rather let you just spread the love to more people. If it makes you feel better, just pretend each card is $3, and you’re getting the second one for free.
3) How long can my message be?
There’s a text box on the order form. Keep it in the box (no scrolling) and nobody gets hurt.
4) What resolution and file type do I need for my pictures?
The the best printing results, we recommend 1600 x 1200 or higher resolution. JPG files are the way to go, and files can be up to 1.5MB in size.
5) I’m sending a bunch of cards. How do you want the list of addresses?
Send us an Excel file with columns for name, address, city, state, zip, and country and you’ll make our favorite customer list. However, we can work with names/addresses in virtually any digital format. The list upload box accepts .xls, .doc, .txt, and .csv file extensions.
6) Why do you need my e-mail address? Will I start getting spam?
We’ll use your e-mail address to to communicate with you regarding your order. If we do send you other communication (and we haven’t yet), you’ll be able to easily opt out at that point. We won’t share your address with 3rd parties. We hate spam as much (if not more) than you do. We’re thoughtful communication heroes, remember?
Payment Questions
1) What payment types to you accept?
All of our online payments are processed though Google Checkout. This keeps things super-secure and gives you plenty of options. If you already have an account with Google, checking out will only take a few seconds. If not, you’ll enter your payment information just like any other site. Our Kiosks allow you to swipe any Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit or debit card.
2) I have a discount code, where do I enter it?
Online discount codes are entered within Google Checkout. So, even if you were lucky enough to score free postcards, you still have to checkout and enter the code there. Kiosk discount codes are entered on the checkout page.
